Looking to protect yourself from fraud, identity theft, and scams? Maybe you’re wondering about the best way to use credit, how to shop for a used car, or maximize your security online. Mill City Credit Union has information for you during National Consumer Protection Week — March 4-10, 2018 — and any time of the year.
Here’s just a snapshot of what we offer:
Receive proactive identity protection and easy access to fraud specialists through all stages of your life. This service, powered by CyberScout, comes complimentary to all checking account holders and their household members.
This program, also in partnership with CyberScout, offers three levels of protection, silver, gold and platinum and is available for purchase. You’ll benefit from essential identity theft protection and resolution services, educational tips and resources, plus a credit and fraud monitoring bundle including your credit score and a report from the three major credit-reporting agencies.
Credit Scores + Reports:
Mill City is proud to offer your free credit report through SavvyMoney, located within Mobile Money or Virtual Branch. This report is made available by collaboration between TransUnion and SavvyMoney. Each time you log in – your credit report updates to reflect the latest information! As a member, you also have access to a free and confidential credit report review through BALANCE.
This free app works alongside your Mobile Money App to give you additional controls. It allows you to turn your debit card on and off and receive real time alerts when your debit card is used, approved or exceeds the transaction controls set by you.
In this day and age it’s more important than ever to find a financial confidant to help you make sound financial decisions. At Mill City Credit Union we very much try to be that for our members. We offer a variety of ways to alert you of suspicious activity and encourage you to be skeptical beyond those measures. We would rather answer your questions than see you fall victim to fraud, scams or identity theft. – Danielle Arthur, Mill City Credit Union Vice President/Chief Operations Officer
